About the Group.

The Tuesday Walking Group meets on the first and third Tuesday of each month, on both mornings and afternoons. The walks are shorter than those enjoyed by the Ramblers and over more gentle terrain. Walks usually finish at nearby coffee shops, where tea and scones are an essential element of the walk!

Provisional Dates and Places for Walks.

Suggestions for new walks are always welcome. Please bear in mind safe parking and a suitable cafe or picnic area to gather afterwards. We hope to take advantage of any good weather by arranging some day trips in addition to the walks on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays.

The programme of walks shown below is not set in stone and some walks and dates may be changed according to circumstances.

Mount Stewart Walk.

The last walk on 17th March was Mount Stewart.

22 members enjoyed coffee and scones in the cafe followed by a walk around the estate.

Orangefield Park Walk.

On 3rd March 21 members enjoyed a walk around Orangefield Park.

Afterwards we called at Arc café in Orangefield Presbyterian Church.

Donaghadee 17 February 2026.

On Tuesday 17th February, 12 members enjoyed a lovely walk in Donaghadee. The weather was very pleasant, cool but sunny. As usual we call at the local coffee shop. Today it was Saints and Sinners and the scones were delicious.
