Then read on and browse our web-site to see what Comber and District u3a can offer you!
Comber and District u3a was founded in 2011 and now has over 300 members, drawn not only from the town, but from the local area, including Ballygowan, Killinchy, Lisbane, Moneyreagh and Dundonald. It is a registered charity, (registration NIC103359.)
We meet monthly on the last Monday of the month, (except when that is a Bank Holiday), at 2p.m. in First Comber Presbyterian Church Hall, High Street, Comber.
At these meetings members have the opportunity to listen to a range of interesting speakers, find out about forthcoming events and chat together over a cup of tea.
Details of our monthly meetings are published on our website on the Events page. Details of forthcoming activity group events are published on the Groups page.

Membership is open to those who have retired or semi-retired. There are no age limits and no required qualifications. What is essential is that members contribute their knowledge, skills and experience actively for the benefit of other members. For details on how to join please visit the Membership page.

We also offer over 20 Activity Groups covering topics from bridge and books to languages, dining and walking. Some Groups meet weekly, others fortnightly and some monthly in members’ houses or public venues around Comber. A few Groups are currently operating at capacity and have a waiting list in place, (the Group Leader can clarify the position for you if you are unclear), but other than that you may join as many Groups as you wish.
We are keen to encourage new Groups, and will support members who come forward with ideas; anyone with ideas for setting up a new group should talk initially to the Group Co-ordinator (see Committee section in the Contact page).
In addition, we organise occasional local outings under the auspices of our Questa Group.
Four continental walking holidays and several local weekends away have also been enjoyed.
